Netflix Renews ‘Never Have I Ever’ For Fourth & Final Season

Never Have I Ever, the Netflix comedy-drama created by Mindy Kaling (The Office) and Lang Fisher, has been renewed for their fourth season, according to Deadline. The upcoming fourth season will also be the show’s last, Deadline also reports.

Kaling and Fisher released a brief statement via Deadline on the show’s renewal.

“We can’t wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you,” Kaling and Fisher said. “Thanks to all our fans for your support.”

Never Have I Ever follows the life of Devi Vishwakumar, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Acting For A Cause), a teenage Indian-American Tamil girl from Los Angeles. The show also stars the likes of Poorna Jagannathan (Big Little Lies), Darren Barnet (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)Benjamin Norris (Unfortunately Ashly), Jaren Lewison (Tag), Richa Moorjani (The Mindy Project), and Lee Rodriguez (Class Of Lies). John McEnroe (Anger Management) narrates the series.

Anirudh Pisharody (Last Man Standing) will be joining the cast of the show in a recurring role for season three, Deadline reports.

Season three of the series just wrapped production, according to Deadline, and will release on Netflix this summer. Deadline also reports that season four will release sometime in 2023 and production will begin in the coming months.

Also releasing a statement via Deadline on Never Have I Ever’s renewal is Bela Bajaria, the Head of Global TV at Netflix.

Kaling and Fisher are both executive producers on the show, along with 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein (Jessica Jones) and David Miner (30 Rock). Kaling produces under her Kaling International banner, while Fisher producers under her Original Langster banner.
