Netflix Releases Teaser Trailer for Part Three of ‘Lupin’

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for its French drama series, Lupin. The teaser premiered as part of Netflix’s celebration this weekend titled Tudum: A Global Fan Event.  

Lupin premiered its first installment of episodes on January 8th, 2021, and returned for Part 2 on June 11th, 2021. The series stars Omar Sy (The Intouchables) as Assane, Ludivine Sagnier (The New Pope) as Claire, Hervé Pierre (Standing Up) as Hubert Pellegrini, Soufiane Guerrab (Visions) as Youssef Guedira, newcomer Etan Simon as Raoul, and Shirine Boutella (Papicha) as Lieutenant Sofia Belkacem. Vincent Londrez (Missions) costars as Capitaine Romain Laugier alongside Clotilde Hesme (The Shift) as Juliette Pellegrini, Antoine Gouy (Two Is a Family) as Benjamin Ferel, Nicole Garcia (Dear Mother) as Madame Anne Pellegrini, and Vincent Garanger (A Cat in Paris) as Gabriel Dumont.

The series received one BAFTA Award nomination this year for Best International Programme. In 2021, Sy received a Television Critics Association Award nomination for his performance in the series. He also won a Satellite Award this year for his turn as Assane.

Lupin is created by George Kay, whose credits include Killing EveMy Mad Fat DiaryOur Zoo, and the Criminal franchise, among others.

Netflix has yet to confirm a release date for Part Three of Lupin.
