Netflix Geek Week: ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ Season Two Trailer Drops

On their official Geeked X page, Netflix has dropped the highly anticipated trailer for the second season of its acclaimed anime series, Castlevania: Nocturne. The series takes place several years after the previous series and focuses on Victor Belmont, voiced by Edward Bluemel (A Discovery of Witches), Maria Renard, voiced by Pixie Davies (Mary Poppins Return) and Annette, voiced by Thuso Mbedu (The Woman King) fighting against the vampiric rebellion.

The first season ended with the appearance of the vampire messiah, Erzsebeth Báthory, voiced by Franka Potente (Psych), who had plunged the world into eternal darkness, and the return of Alucard voiced by James Callis (Rick and Morty). 

he new trailer offers fans a glimpse into the thrilling adventures awaiting the band of heroes they’ll have to combat. We see each character recovering from the previous season’s events and preparing for the upcoming battle. The stakes are higher, and the consequences of their actions are more severe. The second season has been scheduled to make its debut on Netflix in January 2025.Castlevania: Nocturne was among the line-up of TV series mentioned in the Geek Week announcement, with the others being Arcane, One Piece and Squid Game.
