Netflix really could’ve used some of Luke Cage’s unstoppable might earlier this afternoon.
Deadline reports that the streaming service’s servers went down for over two hours earlier today. Coincidentally (or not) Netflix and Marvel’s highly anticipated Luke Cage premiered its 13 episode first season on the platform yesterday.

In typical Netflix fashion, the streaming service would not share whether or not the outage had anything to do with the premiere of the series, though both the show’s twitter account and showrunner Cheo Coker toyed with the possibility.

Netflix quickly responded to the issue, with most markets back up and running.

Luke Cage is the third series in Netflix and Marvel’s recent collaboration. Still left is Iron Fist followed by the four-show crossover series The Defenders. The series stars Mike Colter as Cage, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Frank Whaley, Jaiden Kaine, and Rosario Dawson.
