

Netflix released the trailer for a documentary series about the British boy band called Take That. According to Deadline, The series will follow the bandmates and their journey as a group. According to Deadline, the band known as Take That was at the forefront of the UK’s boy band revolution in the 1990s. The band had 12 number one singles and sold over 45 million records worldwide and remains active today. The synopsis for the series states, “From their early beginnings as five piece formed in Manchester to becoming pop superstars, relive the camaraderie, chaos, and resilience that fueled their meteoric rise, dramatic split, and one of the greatest comebacks in British music history. Told in their own words, this is the deeply personal and definitive story of Take That.” The trailer showcases the band members faces and voices as well as their backstage chemistry and how in tune they are with one another.
Deadline reports that the cast consists of band members, Robbie Williams (Better Man, More Than Santa Baby), Gary Barlow (Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, “Take That: New Day”), Mark Owen (“Take That: Out of Our” Heads, “Take That: Giants”), Jason Orange (Shameless, “Take That: Eight Letters”), and Howard Donald (Anora, The Project). The series is three episodes long with David Soutar (Gavin & Stacey: A fond Farewell, Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All) as director and Gabe Turner (Untold, The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl) as an executive producer.
