TVLine has learned, the series will follow Applegate as a sardonic widow named Jen, who is “determined to solve her husband’s recent hit-and-run murder.” When she meets a young enthusiastic Judy, played by Cardellini, at a support group, the two women grow on each other despite opposing personalities. But as they bond quickly over time, Judy strangely begins to exhibit weird behavior in an attempt to shield Jen from a shocking personal secret.

Back in April 2018, it was announced then, that Netflix had given the production a series order of ten episodes for its first season and by that November, Amy York Rubin was tapped to direct the first two episodes.
