

According to Deadline, Netflix has announced that there will not be a third installment of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s (Last Action Hero, The Terminator) spy action series Fubar. This decision comes almost two months after the second season premiere on the streamer on June 12.
As per Deadline, the series returned two years after dropping the first season. The series barely made Netflix’s Top 10 for English-language series in its first week, landing in the last spot with 2.2M views from Thursday through Sunday, down from about 11M views for the show’s Season one premiere weekend. Season two peaked at #7 in its first full week with 3.3M views and logged one more #10 finish in Week three with 1.8M views before dropping out of the Top 10.
According to Deadline, Fubar follows a CIA operative on the verge of retirement who discovers a family secret and is forced to go back into the field for one last job. The cast of the series includes Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner, Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown, Top Gun: Maverick) as Emma Brunner, Milan Carter (Dolemite Is My Name, The Devil’s Daughter) as Barry Putt, Fortune Feimster (The Mindy Project, Chelsea Lately) as Roo, Travis Van Winkle (Meet the Spartans, Friday the 13th) as Aldon Reese, Fabiana Udenio (Summer School, Jane the Virgin) as Tally Brunner, Jay Baruchel (How to Train Your Dragon, This Is the End) as Carter, Aparna Brielle (A.P. BIO, The Dead Girls Detective Agency) as Tina Mukerji and many others.
As per Deadline, Nick Santora (Scorpion, Most Dangerous Game) serves as showrunner and executive produces with Schwarzenegger. Additional executive producers are Adam Higgs (Whiskey Cavalier, Reacher), Scott Sullivan (Guinea Pigs, King & Maxwell), Phil Abraham (I Love You, Beth Cooper, Trouble on the Corner), Amy Pocha (American Vandal, Whiskey Cavalier), Seth Cohen (Head of the Class, Snack Off) and Skydance’s David Ellison (Hole in One, Gemini Man), Dana Goldberg (The Tomorrow, Star Trek Beyond) and Matt Thunell (Stranger Things, Foundation).
