Netflix has canceled the adult animated series Inside Job shockingly after having renewed it for second season, according to Tvline. The series was un-renewed which came as a shock to many fans of the series, but sadly this has been a common trend with Netflix which has canceled shows like The OA, Fate: The Winx Saga, Warrior Nun, and many more. The creator of the series Shion Takeuchi (Gravity Falls, Inside Out) took to Twitter to break the news to fans.
The tweet below reads, “I’m heartbroken to confirm that Netflix has decided to cancel Season 2 of Inside Job. Over the years, these characters have become real people to me, and I am devastated not to be able to watch them grow up again. Reagan and Brett deserved to get their happiness, and I would have loved to been able to share what was in store with you all.’’
According to Tvline, the series’ first season was released a two parts, one in October 2021, and the second in November 2022. The series was originally renewed for a second season in June 2022.
Inside Out is a Netflix original adult animated series that started in 2021 and was recently renewed for a second season after its two-part first season, and shortly canceled right after. It follows employees of the deep state as conspiracies aren’t just theories, they are facts. The deep state creates and keeps secrets from the public. Lizzy Caplan (Cloverfield) voices the main character of Regan and works for the shadow government along side cast members, Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine), Tisha Campbell (Martin), John DiMaggio (Disenchantment) , Bobby Lee (Pineapple Express), Brett Gelan (Stranger Things), and many others.
