One Piece fans gather around for an amazing retelling of Luffy’s journey into the Grand Line. Netflix has delivered an official teaser for Lego One Piece.
For those who don’t know, One Piece is a manga series that started back in july 22, 1997, in Japan. The series followed a pirate named Monkey D. Luffy, who’s goal is to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece and become the King of the Pirates. Over time the series managed to gain popularity and would end up becoming an anime and eventually was picked up by Netflix in order to make a live action series. Now the series has made a collaboration with the toy company Lego and have presented us with the two part special. The special will have one of the Straw Hat pirates, Ussop, recount the adventures he and his captain Luffy have been on so far. In the trailer, Ussop his seen in Lego form telling the story from his point of view regarding what happened, making himself feel like he is the center of attention. Fans of the series and Lego will find many easter eggs sprinkled all over the special, such as Dracule Mihawk, pulling out a brick separator tool out by mistake in order to fight Roronoa Zoro. The special is built for all fans young and old so it will be a real blast for the whole family.
The cast consists of Iñaki Godoy (Don’t Open the Door, MexZombies), Mackenyu (Chihayafuru: Full Circle, The 19th Medical Chart), Emily Rudd (Delicious in Dungeon, Hunters), Jacob Romero (Water Angel, Rap Sh!t), Taz Skylar (Monitor, Two Neighbors), Mikaela Hoover (Beef, Dead Giveaway), and Charithra Chandran (Christmas Karma, The Death and Life of River Song).
