Eugene Porter is a smarty pants.
Or at least that’s what he says with the bullet-laced Lucille staring him down in the new clip from the upcoming episode of The Walking Dead. According to ComicBook.com the episode, titled “Hostiles and Calamities”, will see the return of Josh McDermitt’s Eugene Porter (who has been absent since the show’s erturn) having to navigate the dangerous world of The Saviors’ compound. After confessing to making Rosita’s bullet (which is now lodged in Lucille) in the midseason finale, Eugene’s fate in Negan’s hands has been up in the air.
The clip shows Negan pressing Eugene for information, threatening him with the ever-looming Lucille. Negan seems to see some progress after pointing out Eugene’s bullet and warning him that “under normal circumstances, I’d be showing you that real close over and over again.”
Hopefully Eugene is still alive by the end of this week’s episode. The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 pm on AMC.
