NBC’s The Hunting Party has returned for a second season. The series follows a small team of investigators led by a former FBI profiler named Rebecca “Bex” Henderson played by Melissa Roxburgh (Tracker, Quantum Leap). The team is assembled to track down and capture dangerous killers who have escaped from a top secret government prison called “The Pit.”
According to Variety, the second season will feature two guest stars who are, Niecy Nash (All’s Fair, Grotesquerie) and Eric McCormack (Hell Motel, Middlebridge Mysteries). McCormack will play a character named Ron Simms aka the “Boogeyman” killer, the character is said to be at large and targeting women who are searching for love. The team must race against the clock to stop this killer before he strikes again. Nash will make her appearance in the second episode of the series as a character named Erica Burke, a detective with a past connection to rural New Mexico serial killer named Adrian Gallo.
The cast consists of Nick Wechsler (Primitive War, High Potential) ,who plays Oliver Odell, Patrick Sabongui (Chat À Table, In Cold Light) who plays Jacob Hassani, Josh McKenzie (The Tavern, NCIS: Sydney) who plays Shane Florence, Sara Garcia (Unicorn Academy, It Feeds) who plays Jennifer Morales, Zabryna Guevara (Daredevil: Born Again, Happy Face) who plays Elizabeth Mallory, Kari Matchett (The Night Agent, Code 8: Part II) who plays Colonel Eve Lazarus, Siobhan Williams (Under The Influence, Tracker) who plays Sarah Dulles, Matt Frewer (The Summer Machine, Perry Mason) who plays Dr. Dulles, Kyra Leroux (School Spirits, Sugarplummed) who plays Sam, Luke Forbes (Harlem, This Is Us) who plays Jonathan Peck, Eliza Coupe (Haunted Hotel, Blue Eyed Girl) who plays Jenna Wells, and Jay Paulson (For All Mankind, Knox Goes Away) who plays Tom Beecher.
The second season of the series is set to premiere on January 8, 2026. In the meantime you are able to view the first season of The Hunting Party on Peacock.
