NBC Reboots ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ For Mini Series

NBC executive Bob Greenblatt announced that there will be a prime-time remake of the 1968 psychological horror film “Rosemary’s Baby” based of the bestselling novel by Ira Levin.

The reboot is described as a edge-of-your-seat thriller retelling of the novel that will focus on a young husband and wife living in Paris (switched from Manhattan), Entertainment Weekly reported. The remake has not been cast yet as well as the creative talent behind the mini series.

“We need to be in the event business,” Greenblatt told the Television Critics Association on Saturday.

Along with Rosemary’s Baby, the network uncovered plans for a Hilary Clinton biopic led by Diane Lane and a mini series of Stephen King’s 1987 novel “The Tommyknockers” to compete with CBS’ Under The Dome.
