TVLine reports that the comedy pilot, which had already been rumored to be picked up by NBC, was now oficially ordered.
The Pro is a single-camera comedy about “a former [tennis] doubles champion who is reunited with his ex-partner after a public feud” that had left them struggling with their lives after parting.
It is also already known that the two sets of the show will be a tennis court and a golf course.
Rob Lowe is set to take the leading role, with Todd Holland directing and Pete Huyck and Alex Gregory penning the script.
