NBC Moves ‘The Blacklist’ to Thursdays, Sets Date For Series Finale

Deadline has reported that The Blacklist on NBC has moved to Thursdays beginning on June 1. Episodes will air back-to-back at 8 pm and 9 pm on June 1 and following episodes will air weekly at 8 pm. The Blacklist episodes have previously been airing on Sundays at 10 pm.

This is the 11th and final scheduling move for the NBC drama series. The series first aired on September 23, 2013 and was moved to Thursdays as a power play in February 2015. NBC moved the series to Thursdays eight episodes into the second season after high early ratings.

The Blacklist will air its two-hour series finale from 8-10 pm on July 13. Deadline reports that, according to Neilson, last season received 29.1 million viewers on NBC.
