The retired gymnast announced today that she is contributing to NBC’s Olympic games coverage.
The twenty-four year-old former USA Team gymnast announced earlier via Twitter that she is going to be working as a reporter for NBC on the next Winter Olympics.
“Beyond thrilled to join the @NBCOlympics team for the Olympic Games in Sochi,” she said enthusiastically.
Nastia, daugther of former gymnast and coach Valeri Liukin, won five medals at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, one being the all-around gold.
Liukin has not been competing since the end of the games and has already collaborated with NBC for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and will now do it again for the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, which take place from February 7th to February 23rd.
