

Morgan, played by Kaitlin Olson (Finding Dory, The Heat) and the LAPD are expecting to return sooner than fans would expect for the upcoming third season. According to Screenrant, the finale scene of the previous season had Morgan meeting up with Nick Wagner, played by Steve Howey (Shameless, Day Shift) in a meeting with ghost, but later Morgan found he was fatally stabbed and wether he wil live or day is unknown. It has been reported that Howey will be leaving as one of the series regulars.

Reported by Screenrant, the series confirmation is further solidified by a recent post from Matthew Lamb (Only Murders in the Building, Smile), who plays Morgan’s son, Elliot, in the series. The young actor expressed his excitement about how hard the production team and cast are working to finish up scenes, sharing a photo with the caption, “Best Day Ever at ‘work!’”. High Potential isn’t the only crime drama series returning after the winter holiday. Network lineups are shaping up to be incredibly packed, as highly anticipated new seasons of hit procedurals like The Rookie and Will Trent are also expected to premiere, giving fans plenty of mystery and action to look forward to in the new year.”
