According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO’s The Last of Us keeps adding new cast members for its third instalment with  Michelle Mao (The Keepers of the 5 Kingdoms, Bridgerton) and Kyriana Kratter (Skeleton Crew, The Healing Garden) joining the already stacked cast. Mao and Kratter will be playing the roles of Yara and Lev, respectively.

As per  The Hollywood Reporter, Seraphites Yara and Lev are a major part of Abby Anderson’s life, played by Kaitlyn Dever (Last Man Standing, No One Will Save You). This is believed to be the focus of the third instalment of the series. Lev is the deuteragonist of Abby’s storyline in Naughty Dog’s game, serving as her partner and moral compass.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the third season of The Last of Us includes Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones, Catherine Called Birdy), Isabela Merced (Peacemaker, Alien: Romulus), Gabriel Luna (Secret Level, Love, Death  & Robots), and Jeffrey Wright (Brocken Flowers, Wake Up Dead Man), as well as new members to the cast Clea DuVall (But I’m a Cheerleader, The Faculty) will portray a seraphite, and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Spider-Man: Homecoming, American Carnage) is taking on the role of Manny, following Danny Ramirez’s (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Assassination Nation) departure. Jason Ritter (A Million Little Things, Raising Dion) and Patrick Wilson (The Phantom of the Opera, Watchmen) are recurring as Hanley, a WLF soldier, and Abby’s father, Jerry.

As per  The Hollywood Reporter, the series is co-created by Craig Mazin (Chernobyl, Superhero Movie) and the game’s Neil Druckmann (Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Jack and Daxter: The Lost Frontier), who served as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Druckmann in the first two seasons as the sole showrunner for the third.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Kratter credits include Disney+’s Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Disney Channel’s Bunk’d and she is repped by Paradigm and Complete Management Group. Mao is coming off a major role on the fourth season of  Netflix’s Bridgerton. Mao is repped by MGMT Entertainment, Allegory Creative Talent and Gang, Tyre, Ramer.
