On any television news site, Game of Thrones has been the big topic. Every article leads back to the latest plot twists of the show. Even this is no exception.
After her character was killed off last Sunday, Entertainment Weekly reveals that Michelle Fairley will join USA’s Suits next season.
Fairley will have a recurring role in the third season of Suits. This legal dramedy follows confident bigwig lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and his protégé Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). After a drug deal gone bad, Mike appealed to Harvey to get a job at a law firm. Though Mike never attended law school, his photographic memory and knowledge of the law made him a desirable ally. After Harvey decided to give Mike a chance, the two are faced with many challenges in which they race to keep Mike’s secret, along with dealing with the law firm hierarchy and politics. And, the most difficult struggle: keeping Mike’s past from catching up with him.
Fairley, according to Entertainment Weekly, will play Ava Hessington. Ava is a British entrepreneur who runs an international oil company who is faced with a massive lawsuit. In a bind, she goes to Harvey Specter for help.
The same article also reports that Fairley will not be the only Game of Thrones star to appear on Suits. Conleth Hill will guest star as British firm head Edward Darby.
Season 3 of Suits premieres on July 16 on USA Network.
