Max Set To Release New Crime Docuseries ‘Justice, USA’ Come March

A brand-new Max original crime docuseries consisting of six episodes and entitled Justice, USA is set to drop on the streaming service next month. According to a Warner Bros. Discovery media release, the first two episodes of Justice, USA will premiere on Max on Thursday, March 14. After its initial release on the streamer, two more episodes will drop and be available to stream every Thursday until the series comes to a close on March 28. 

As per the Warner Bros. Discovery media release, Justice, USA comes from and is executively produced by Marshall Goldberg (Life Goes On, L.A. Law), who is a Humanitas Prize finalist, and the Grammy, Oscar and Emmy award-winning rapper Common (Suicide Squad, John Wick: Chapter 2). Alongside Common and Goldberg, the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-award-winning film producer and TV director Mike Tollin (Radio, The Last Dance) is also on board as an executive producer for the series with his company, MTP or Mike Tollin Productions. 

The media release also notes that Tamara Brown (Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Assassin’s Creed: Origins) from Think Common Entertainment is an additional executive producer for the series.  

The official logline for Justice, USA, via the Warner Bros. Discovery media release, reads: ​​”JUSTICE, USA is a compelling 360-degree insider’s view of Nashville’s criminal justice system, offering unprecedented access to the men’s, women’s, and juvenile jails, as we watch inmates, deputies, lawyers, and judges confront issues of incarceration, mental illness, and addiction.

Justice, USA is produced by Oprah Winfrey’s (The Color Purple, A Wrinkle in Time) Network, OWN, and Mike Tollin Productions with previously mentioned executive producers Brown, Common, Tollin and Goldberg. Randy Ferrell (Death Row Chronicles, Disrupt & Dismantle with Soledad O’Brien) will serve as Justice, USA’s showrunner.
