According to TVLine, Max has just revealed new official trailer for The Girls on the Bus along with the much-anticipated release date. The comedic drama is based on a chapter of an Amy Chozic (Chasing Hillary) novel and will premiere on the streamer on Thursday, March 14th. The Girls on the Bus will consist of a total of 10 episodes. The series will air with two new episodes, and then will be followed by one new episode weekly until its season finale on the ninth of May.

According to TVLine, the description for the series is as follows: “the series follows Melissa Benoit’s (Supergirl, Glee) Sadie McCarthy who leaves her life behind to cover a presidential campaign for a newspaper. Along the way, Sadie meets and bonds with three other female journalists from competing publications. “Despite their differences, these women become a found family with a front-row seat to the greatest soap opera in town: the battle for the White House,” per the official logline. “Despite their differences, these women become a found family with a front-row seat to the greatest soap opera in town: the battle for the White House.”
According to TVLine, The series is being developed by Chozick and Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries), who will also be executive producing. Rina Mimoun (Superman & Lois) will serve as the showrunner for the series. Mimoun, Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon), and Sarah Schechter (The Flash) will also serve as executive producers.
