Marvel’s ‘What If…?’ Season Three: A Glimpse Into the Multiverse’s Wildest Possibilities

Marvel Studios has once again ignited the spark of imagination with the release of the highly anticipated trailer for What If…? season three. According to an mxdwn post, the animated series explores alternative timelines within the MCU and has captivated viewers with its stunning visuals and outstanding storytelling. Such events included in the previous seasons were Nebula, voiced by Karen Gillan (Doctor Who), joining Nova Corp.; Peggy Carter, voiced by Hayley Atwell (Avengers Assemble), becoming the first Avenger; and T’challa, voiced by Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) becoming a Star-Lord.

The trailer does not give away much, but it displays the action-filled battles featured within the season and leaves the audience with something to look forward to. According to an mxdwn post, the third season will also be the final season. It will no doubt push the boundary by exploring brand new scenarios, such as Sam Wilson, voiced by Anthony Mackie (Twisted Metal), working with Captain Rambo and Bucky to pilot giant mechs, Storm wielding the Mjolnir and Shang-Chi voiced by Simu Liu (Jackpot!) with Kate Bishop voiced by Hailee Steinfeld (Arcane) in the wild west.

Fans can expect to see the return of familiar characters such as Peggy Carter and the newly added Kahhori, voiced by Devery Jacobs (Spirit Ranger), recruiting a new team to combat a multiversal threat and to save all of reality. Season three promises to delve deeper into the mystery behind the multiverse and offer a different perspective of beloved characters in iconic events.

With its unique blend of action, humor and thought-provoking storytelling, What If…? has become a fan-favorite series, and the final season will surely continue the trend. While fans are awaiting the final season, which is scheduled to debut on December 22, the previous two are available on Disney+ and consist of eight episodes.
