Marvel Entertainment will debut their first television special, Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe, on Tuesday, March 18 on ABC.
The special will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look inside the world of Marvel Studios during the ABC Primetime special. Those who will be part of the special are stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, celebrity fans, filmmakers and pop culture icons.
Marvel Studios lead the way and broke box-office records around the world. The universe they created is unlike any other blockbuster film in pop culture history. It started with Iron Man in 2008 and continues today with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) and the soon to be released Captain America: The Winter Soldier this April.
This special brings audiences further in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by giving them a front row seat into the inception of Marvel Studios, record-breaking films, cultural phenomenon and what lies ahead for the future of Marvel Television. As the first television special from Marvel, it will document the story behind Marvel Studios and Marvel Cinematic Universe with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage from all Marvel Films, the Marvel One-Shots and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., footage from new Marvel films, Guardians of The Galaxy and a sneak peak into the upcoming Marvel film The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe premieres on Tuesday, March 18 from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
