As the devil’s hour vastly approaches, Marvel has revealed the episode titles and release schedule for Daredevil: Born Again‘s second season. The highly anticipated series returns today at 6 p.m. PT/9p.m. ET only on Disney Plus. View the Instagram post announcing the news as an ordinance from Mayor Fisk.
According to the post, “The Northern Star” begins our second season journey, with two episodes — “Shoot the Moon” and “The Scales of the Sword” — to follow on March 31. April 7’s episode is titled “Gloves Off” and episode five, “The Grand Design” releases a week later. Episode six, “Requiem” falls on April 21. The penultimate episode “The Hateful Darkness” arrives April 28. The season ends with “The Southern Cross” on May 5. A week later, fans can retreat back to the streamer for the hour-long special presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill, with Jon Bernthal’s (We Own This City, His and Hers) Frank Castle.
The second season finds Matt Murdock’s Daredevil in hiding as Mayor Wilson Fisk’s anti-vigilante mandate grasps New York City in a tyrannical vice. Beyond the shadows, Matt, Karen and a team of dissenters plot to take the city back.
Among the returning cast of Charlie Cox (Treason, Stardust), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Godfather of Harlem) and Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood, Escape Room) the series will see Krysten Ritter (Orphan Black: Echoes, Breaking Bad) reprise her Netflix role of Jessica Jones. The series also gains the additions of Matthew Lillard (Cross, Five Nights at Freddy’s) and Lili Taylor (American Crime, Poker Face).
Already renewed for a third season, fans are extending hope that proper Defenders reunion takes place, with Netflix’s Luke Cage and Iron Fist eventually joining the series. Mike Colter (Evil, Cupertino) hinted at the possibility last year. Currently, Colter is attached to star in the CBS series Cupertino.
Season two of Daredevil: Born Again premieres tonight at 6 p.m. PT exclusively on Disney Plus.
