Today, Marvel shared the episode release schedule for Agatha All Along on its Instagram. According to Screen Rant, the highly anticipated spinoff to Marvel’s first TV outing, WandaVision, is set to premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 18 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. ET.
New episodes will be released every Wednesday at the same time, and fitting in with the show’s spooky theming, the two-part finale will premiere the night before Halloween, October 30. The series will be among the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s longest with a total of nine episodes, tying in episode count with WandaVision, She-Hulk and both seasons of What If…?
Starring Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery), Agatha All Along follows WandaVision antagonist Agatha Harkness three years after her encounter with the Scarlet Witch. Disney’s official synopsis reads, “In Marvel Studios’ Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps free her from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary ‘Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven and set off down The Road…”
Hahn is joined by an extended cast of new witches played by Joe Locke (Heartstopper), Audrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation, The White Lotus), Patti LuPone (Life Goes On, Company), Sasheer Zamata (Home Economics, Spree) and Ali Ahn (The Diplomat, Raising Dion). WandaVision actors Debra Jo Rupp (That ’90s Show, That ’70s Show), David Lengel (Jungle Cruise, Fantasy Football) and David A. Payton (Waves, A Good Man Is Hard to Find) also join the cast, reprising their roles as residents of Westview.
