The renowned Prime Video fantasy series, The Wheel of Time, has just announced new members joining the existing cast for the third season. The new members that will be joining the third season are Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense) as Queen Morgase of Andor, Luke Fetherston (Doctor Who) as Lord Galad, Callum Kerr (Love House) as Lord Gawyn and Nuno Lopes (Bad Living) as Lord Gaebril. According to previous mxdwn post, these are not the only new additions, as Emmy winner Shohreh Aghdashloo (Damsel) will be playing Elaida do Avriny a’Roihan, a powerful Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah and the main antagonist within the approaching season.
The series’ battle between forces of light and dark has captivated its audience with its stunning visuals, complex characters, and rich world-building. According to a mxdwn post, major characters within the series consist of Rosamund Pike (Jack Reacher) as Moiraine, Josha Stradowski (High-Flyers) as Rand al’Thor, Zoe Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) as Nynaeve, Madeleine Madden (Mystery Road) as Eugene, Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin and Dónal Finn (The Witcher) as Matt.
According to a mxdwn post, the third season of The Wheel of Time promises to delve deeper into the intricate tapestry of the series, and the introduction of new characters will amplify the anticipation, magic and drama within it. Fans can expect to see more from previous villains, such as the other members of the Forsaken, for instance, Moghedien, played by Laia Costa (Devils) in the previous season.
