According to Variety, there will be a new twist on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year- MBCUniversal will introduce the program with the new feature of a three-angle multiview option. There will even be a Livestream positioned atop the main float.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade had been showcasing for the past 99 years and will be broadcasted on November 27th at 8:30 a.m. across all timezones on Peacock. Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Wicked) will perform the opening number and Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Korb, and Al Roker, the hosts of The Today Show, will be coming back as the hosts of the event. Last year drew in record-breaking numbers, with 31.7 million viewers according to Variety.

Those who subscribe to Peacock are able to use Multiview to see the components of the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade from three different camera angles.

According to Variety, the first view will be the Primary View. This view is the view most are familiar with. It will include commentary from the hosts, performances from notable celebrities, and much more. There will also be float view. A perspective from Tom The Turkey floating though the streets will give a whole new feel to the spectacle. Lastly, there will be a bird’s eye view of the events, where observers will be able to get a view of the whole parade route in a new, imaginative way.

A few other performers in addition to Erivo will be EJAE, Audrey Nuna, the singing voices of HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters, Colbie Caillat, Ciara, Gavin DeGraw, Meg Donnelly, Mr. Fantasy, Teyana Taylor, and Christopher Jackson.
