Leonardo DiCaprio & Jonah Hill Team Up with Rapper Q-tip For Drama Series

The current Wolf of Wall Street co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill will develop and create new scripted TV series.

The project will be loosely based on Q-Tip’s experience during the Native Tongue era. There is no writer yet for the hip-hop drama series, which will be produced through DiCaprio’s production company called Appian Way.

Q-Tip is a founding member of the hip-hop group “A Tribe Called Quest” and was apart of their experience with other hip-hop artists during the Native Tongue era in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. The show will reflect on their stories of their friendship and how their music played a part in culture then and how they influenced the music of today.

Q-Tip is repped by CAA, DiCaprio is with LBi and Hill is with WME. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill are currently starring in The Wolf of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese which is is nominated for two Golden Globes.
