According to TVGuide, Ryan Murphy might be working on a Glee spin-off and the actress would once again get the leading role.
Although it is not certain yet, it looks like Glee creator Ryan Murphy is developing a spin-off of the series and plans to give Rachel Berry a leading role, as well as to some other characters of the show.
This news arrive after last week’s reports that Murphy was thinking about moving the entire Glee setting from Lima, Ohio to New York, where Rachel, Kurt and Santana are already living and working.
There were also talks that the musical-themed show might move Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) to Russia this season or next, in a way to protest against the anti-gay politics of the European country.
Though nothing is confirmed, what is certain is that Cory Monteith’s death was the catalyser to all these possible changes, since Ryan Murphy himself admitted to not knowing how he would end the show, since the original ending was designed all around Monteith’s and Michele’s characters.
