Popular comedian Kevin Hart will have his stand-up act adapted for a new ABC sitcom. The show will focus on a couple after their divorce who despite their differences, are trying to forge a relationship for the sake of their children.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hart will not star in the show, but is likely to have a recurring role. The pilot will be written and produced by Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan of Community. Hart and his 3 Arts manager Dave Becky will also join the pair as executive producers. This will not be Hart’s first venture into network television. He has appeared on ABC’s Modern Family as well as BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood of which he also executive produces.
