Justin Bieber’s new docuseries has found its way over to Youtube, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The docuseries, Justin Bieber: Seasons, will follow Bieber’s journey as he makes his return not only to the music industry after four year hiatus, but as he makes his return to Youtube, the platform responsible for launching his career in the first place. It was 2007 when Justin Bieber was discovered by Scooter Braun, who then introduced Bieber to the world after playing a part in getting Bieber signed to a record label. Bieber’s presence has continued to remain strong on the online platform with over 47.5 million subscribers following Bieber’s every posted video, with The Hollywood Reporter claiming this makes him the most subscribed artist on the platform.
In regards to his docuseries, Bieber had nothing but kind words for the idea of partnering up with Youtube again. “When I was getting started, Youtube provided me a platform and a community where I could share music, experiences and moments with my fans,” Bieber said in a statement. “It feels great to partner with Youtube for this original documentary series. I want my fans to be part of this journey.”
Justin Bieber: Seasons, will be 10 episodes devoted to giving fans inside access to the making of Bieber’s new album. It will allow viewers to be in the room with Bieber as he crafts his music, the thoughts and emotions that will follow him while he attempts to attract the spotlight once again, and will even focus on his day to day activities, including footage from his marriage to Hailey Bieber. As a bonus, Seasons will offer new music from the artist himself, making the show a perfect gift for Bieber fans everywhere. The Hollywood Reporter also notes that fans will have access to Seasons episodes for free biweekly, the caveat being they will include ads. If viewers want to binge the show in its entirety without the interruption of ads, they must pay the monthly $12 Youtube premium prescription.
Seasons will debut on Monday, January 27th, at 12 p.m. New episodes will air every Monday and Wednesday.
