

According to Variety, Paradise star, John Beaver (Night Visions, Outer Ranger) will be joining NBC’s newest drama pilot. Other cast members include, Emily Deschannel (Agent Stoker, Devil In Ohio) and An-Li Bogan (Happy Place, The Meeting Spot)in the untitled pilot, which has been inspired by the real life of work of Dr. Ann Burgess (Mastermind: To Think Like a Killer) who is an internationally recognized expert profiler and author.
Variety stated that the official logline for the show is, ” Professor Georgia Ryan (Played by Deschanel) is a trailblazing psychologist who challenges the field of criminology by shifting the investigative focus to the victum rather than just the perpetrator in order to uncover the crucial clues that more traditional methers leave behind. ALongside her team, this pioneering expert consults with teh FBI to solve the most baffling and elusive cases.”
Actor Beavers will be portraying character, Will Andover. Beavers describes his character in a statement to Variety, “He was the top profiler in his class at Quantico, but then he had a fall from grace. Now at a crossroads in his areer, he desperately needs to win.” Currently viewers can see Beaver in the Hulu series, Paradise playing the role of Billy Pace. He also appeared in the Oscar nominated film, One Battle After Another. Beavers television credits include, Animal Kingdom, Bel-Air, and Sugar. He is repped by Artium Talent, United Entertainment and Gang, Tyre, Ramer.
John Davis (The Pick up, Predator: Killer of Killers) is set to executive produce for Davis Entertainment along side of Dean Georgaris (Quantum Leap, The Baker and the Beauty) and John Fox (Being Eddie Song Sung Blue) who are the writers for the series. In addition to starring in the series, Deschanel will also be a producer. Universal Television will be the producing studios.
