According to Comicbook, The Boys fans get to see more of Soldier Boy as Jensen Ackles (The Winchesters) will be appearing in Gen V. Recently it was revealed that other members of the series would be joining the spinoff such as Jess T. Usher (Dangerous Lies) who plays A-Train and Chance Crawford (The Covenant) who plays The Deep.
Creator Eric Kripke (Supernatural) revealed, “The old TV adage is like, never kill anyone unless you really, really have to. Never close a door, open a window. We’ll all have to wait and see, but I can’t imagine the series ending without Soldier Boy making another appearance.”
Ackles added, “He and I were just, like, we were spitballing ideas and workshopping literally in between takes and coming up with a whole variety of takes.”
Gen V expands more on The Boys universe as it follows first-generation superheroes who discover that their powers were created by Compound V. They use these abilities as well as their moral boundaries to compete in different tests to gain the top rank at the school.
