According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new horror-theme project will revolve around haunted houses, although more details are still kept secret.
It is the first big project that Darnell has sold since leaving FOX for Warner Bros. TV in the summer, this time teaming up with Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions, which has been growing in the horror business.
This project will also involve Lisa Berger, who has just stepped into her new shoes as ABC’s business unscripted chief. Berger just arrived at ABC coming from E! Entertainment and this is the second project she is in, having also joined Rising Star last year.
Jason Blum, who is set to executive produce this unscripted pilot, is working for ABC for the second time, since the short-lived show The River in 2012.
