The veteran actor will guest-star on Suits when the show comes out of hiatus.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sixty-two year old actor will guest-star on the second half of the third season, playing Charles van Dyke, one of the original partners’ on Suits law firm, that Jessica Pearson shoved out the door on her way to the top.
It is known that his first episode will be the 15th of the season, but the character is expected to recur for a few episodes.
Sheridan’s resumé is impressive, including roles on Law & Order, Trauma, Chicago Hope and, more recently, Homeland, Arrow and Smash.
Suits is currently on hiatus and is expected to come back to USA Network’s scheduling somewhere in January.
