Jack Quaid Teases More Information On The Fifth And Final Season Of Prime Video’s ‘The Boys’

According to ScreenRantJack Quaid (Logan Lucky), the star of Prime Video’s The Boys, teased the fifth and final season of the series and explained why the ending is beneficial to the show. Quaid spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, sharing what is in store for cast members and the audience. He accepted that the series would end with its fifth season, revealing that he was relieved that showrunner Eric Kripke (Supernatural) was able to end the story on his own terms.

Quaid said, “I think it’s good that we end with Season 5 because we’re ending on our own terms. It’s not like someone canceled us and we’re trying to quickly make a season that feels final. This was always the showrunner’s intention to end with five seasons, and I’ve actually known that for a little bit and tried to keep my mouth shut about it.”

As per ScreenRant, although he didn’t say much to spoil the upcoming season, Quaid teased what he had witnessed during production and how insane it was. He stated that he is excited to see what’s coming for the rest of the season, as he doesn’t know everything that will happen.

He said, “The Boys Season 5 is gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be very messy. I don’t know, I just keep thinking a lot of us are probably gonna die. It’s just going to be insane, and I’m excited to see what that entails.”

The Boys is a superhero-based series that takes a spin on conventional superheroes. In the universe of this series, being a hero is now a brand that is marketed to the masses, and this has corrupted many heroes not only because of their power but also because of their new celebrity status

The series cast includes Quaid as Hughie, Karl Urban (Star Trek) as Billy Butcher, Antony Starr (Gen V) as Homelander, Erin Moriarty (Blood Father) as Starlight, Jessie T. Usher (Smile) as A-Train, Laz Alonso (Wrath of Man) as Mother’s Milk, Chace Crawford (The Covenant) as The Deep and many others.

The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video.
