‘iZombie’ and ‘Supernatural’ Actress, Carrie Anne Fleming, Passes Away at 51

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Carrie Anne Fleming (The Tooth Fairy, Masters of Horror) was announced dead by her co-star. She passed away on February 26th of cancer after a long career of acting, dancing, and modeling.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jim Beaver (Deadwood, The Boys), who played her husband on Supernatural, recalls that they met on the set of Supernatural and really bonded by their daughters having the same names but with different spelling.

“She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn’t seem to have an off switch,” her co-star wrote to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hollywood Reporter writes that the actress was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on August 16, 1974. At such an early age, she had a passion for the arts and had decided to pursue a career in drama at Kaleidoscope Theatre. Fleming also had been a dancer in Kidco theatre dance group. After this, she modeled for a short time and landed her first television acting gig in 1994 with television’s Viper. After Viper, the actress then made a guest appearance in 1996’s Happy Gilmore. Fleming also appeared on iZombie from 2015 to 2019 as Candy, playing a zombie that assists the police. Then, received an acting role on Supernatural, she appeared on three episodes as Karen Singer.

According to Hollywood Reporter Fleming’s TV credits are Supergirl, UnREAL, Continuum, Alice, Knights of Bloodsteel, The 4400, The L Word, Smallville, The Dead Zone, Stargate SG-1, and Secret Agent Man. While her movie credits include appearing in 14 Hours, Edison, Good Luck Chuck, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness, Married Life, The Christmas Consultant, That Burning Feeling, Like Sunday, Like Rain, Along Came a Nanny, and Rememory and Heart of Clay.
