Production has officially begun on Season four of the Emmy-winning HBO Original series The White Lotus, created by Mike White (Enlightened, School of Rock). According to Warner Bros. Discovery Press, filming is underway along the French Riviera, with locations including Cannes, St. Tropez, and Monaco. Additional filming will take place in Paris, although the story itself will remain set along the Côte d’Azur. The new season will unfold during the Cannes Film Festival.
Season four will follow new group of guests and employees at two fictional White Lotus properties. According to the official logline from Warner Bros. Discovery Press, the story takes place over the course of one week as the characters navigate their stay during one of the most high-profile events in the world. The hotels featured this season include the Airelles Château de la Messardière, which will appear as the White Lotus du Cap, and the Hôtel Martinez, which will serve as the White Lotus Cannes.
The cast for the upcoming season is one of the largest ensembles the series has assembled so far. Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown, Harry Potter) leads the group alongside Vincent Cassel (Black Swan, Westworld) and Steve Coogan (Philomena, Alan Partridge). The season also stars Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila (Being 17, Mortel), Ari Graynor (I’m Dying Up Here, The Disaster Artist), Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig (Vikings, Heels), Chris Messina (The Mindy Project, Air), AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs, She-Ra), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Eternals), and Nadia Tereszkiewicz (Forever Young, Only the Animals), per Warner Bros. Discovery Press.
