According to Deadline, the wait is almost over as the third season of the Hulu original The Bear just got much closer, with the series now premiering three hours earlier. The series will air with 10 episodes on Hulu this Wednesday, June 26, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. This early release means that Disney+ can now air all episodes of the series internationally in territories including the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gibraltar, the Balkans, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Egypt and select countries in the Middle East at the same time.
*Warning spoilers ahead* As per Deadline, the third season will follow Carmy, Richie and Sydney as they further elevate the sandwich shop, which has now become a fine-dining destination. The day-to-day struggle of running a restaurant gets to Carmy mentally as he gets more intense with his staff, who try to match him.
The cast of the third season will include Jeremy Allen White (Shameless), Ayo Edebiri (Theater Camp), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher), Abby Elliott (No Strings Attached), Lionel Boyce (Loiter Squad), Liza Colón-Zayas (In Treatment), Matty Matheson (It’s Suppertime!), Oliver Platt (The Three Musketeers) and Molly Gordon (Ramy).
According to Deadline, John Landgraf (Reno 911!), boss of FX, addressed the idea of dropping all series episodes earlier this year.
He said, “When we came back for Season 2, we debated, since we knew now that we had a hit, can we milk it a little bit? Can we roll it out over weeks, more Bear is better? We then thought that’s a rotten thing to do, to change it up for the audience. The way that Chris makes it, even though the episodes are separate, there’s a whole vibe to every season so we decided not to change what we had already set in motion and I have no doubt that we’ll keep doing it because we did it in the past. Even if we could, I don’t think we’d change it now.”
The third season of The Bear premieres on Hulu on June 26. All seasons are available to stream on the platform.
