According to Comicbook, Hulu has recently revealed new trailer for the Solar Opposites Valentine’s Day special. Many fans of the series will get to see their favorite alien family in an all-new special before the premiere of the fifth season later this year. The special is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on the fifth of February. Hulu teases the new special as follows: “The Solar Opposites get romantic AF in their very first Valentine’s Day Special!”

Solar Opposites is an animated series that started in 2020 and currently has four seasons. The series follows the lives of an alien family that includes a team leader and their partner as well as their respective replicant that serve as their children. The family crashed on Earth after escaping the destruction of their home planet Shlorp. The sitcom follows the family as they try to fit into their new environment while also figuring out whether or not to terraform it into a copy of their home planet. In each episode, the plot either follows the high jinks of the entire family or individual characters.
The voice cast for the animated sitcom includes Thomas Middleditch (Amphibia) as Terry, Dan Stevens (The Boy and the Heron) as Korvo, Sean Gaimbrone (Carol & The End of the World) as Yumyalack, Mary Mack (Kiff) as Jesse, Sagan McMahan (Warped Kart Racers) as The Puppa, Tiffany Haddish (The Afterparty) as Aisha, and many others.
This will not be the first holiday episode for the series as they have had both Halloween and Christmas specials as well titled, A Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special, and A Very Solar Holiday Opposites Special.
All current seasons of Solar Opposites are available to stream on Hulu.
