Hulu Releases Trailer For Season Four Of ‘Solar Opposites’

The adult animated series Solar Opposites debuted on Hulu in May 2020. Created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty, Fish Hooks) and Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty, Star Trek: Lower Decks), Solar Opposites is on its fourth season, which is set to premiere on August 14th. According to Comicbook.com, Hulu has released the trailer for season four.

Hulu’s Solar Opposites revolves around an alien family who must reside on Earth. This sudden relocation was due to news that their home planet, Shlorp, was going to be hit by an asteroid. Throughout the animated sitcom, the family attempts to get used to Earth’s customs. They also have trouble deciding if they like their home planet more.

The official trailer can be viewed below.

The trailer as well as previous teasers has revealed that Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast, Downton Abbey) will be joining the main cast as the new voice of Korvo. As Comicbook.com notes, in the previous seasons, Roiland was the voice of Korvo. However, he was let go of Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty due to charges of alleged domestic violence.

Other stars of Solar Opposites include Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack (The Goldbergs, Kim Possible), Mary Mack (World War Z, High on Life) as Jesse, Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley, Replicas) as Terry, Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip, Nobody’s Fool) as Aisha, Kari Wahlgren (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Ice Age: Scrat Tales) as Mrs. Frankie, Sagan McMahan (Warped Kart Racers) as Pupa, and more.

In addition to news regarding the fourth season, Comicbook.com notes that fans can look forward to specific holiday episodes in the future, such as for Valentine’s Day in 2024, as well as a fifth season.

On August 14th, fans of Solar Opposites can look forward to streaming all eleven episodes of season four on Hulu.
