

According to Deadline, Hulu has announced that the 13th season of the animated comedy Futurama will be released with all 10 episodes. On September 15, the series will air on the streamer, and fans won’t have to wait weekly for new episodes, unlike how they did with seasons 11 and 12.
As per Deadline, the logline for the 13th season of the series is as follows: “Bender is rampaging out of control! A volcano is about to explode! Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love! And Dr. Zoidberg is rising up to heaven?! The excitement might be too much!”
Futurama was in the Top 10 Streaming Originals of 2024, per Nielsen via Deadline. The series comes from Matt Groening (The Simpsons Movie, Futurama: Bender’s Big Score) and was developed by Groening and David X. Cohen (The Nerdist Podcast, Futurama Live!). Executive producers include Groening, Cohen, Ken Keeler (Bram and Alice, The Naked Truth) and Claudia Katz (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Coffin Dodgers).
According to Deadline, the voiceline cast includes John DiMaggio (Adventure Time, Disenchantment) as Bender, Billy West (The Ren & Stimpy Show, Space Jam) as Philip J. Fry, Katey Sagal (Married… with Children. The Conners) as Turanga Leela, Tress MacNeille (Animaniacs, The Simpsons) as Linda, Maurice LaMarche (Pinky and the Brain,The Critic) as Kif Kroker, Lauren Tom (King of the Hill Revival, When a Man Love a Woman) as Amy Wong, Phil Lamar (Samurai Jack, Static Shock) as Hermes Condrad and David Herman (Paradise PD, Office Space) as Scruffy.
As per Deadline, the adult animated series first aired in 1999 on Fox. The series follows Philip J. Fry, a New York City pizza delivery boy who accidentally freezes himself in 1999 and gets defrosted in the year 3000. After its initial run on Fox, Futurama aired on Comedy Central from 2010 to 2013, before being made available on Hulu in 2023 with new episodes.
