According to Deadline, Hulu has finally revealed the premiere date for Futurama season eleven. The series revival has long been anticipated since Hulu announced it in February of last year. The series is set to premiere Monday, July 24th on the streaming platform. The ten-episode season will air weekly as part of the 20 episodes that Hulu has ordered.

Futurama originally airing on Fox follows the story of Fry, a New York delivery boy, who gets frozen while delivering pizza right before the start of the new year only to wake up 1,000 years into the future. Although now in the future not much has changed for Fry as he is still a delivery man just now his deliveries span all of space. He and his now crewmates work for Fry’s only living descendant Professor Farnsworth and his delivery service named Planet Express as they journey through space and end up in many comedic adventures.
Futurama was created by Matt Groening (The Simpsons) and David X. Cohen (Disenchantment). The cast for the new season includes John DiMaggio (Inside Job), Tress MacNeille (Animaniacs), Maurice LaMarche (Zootopia), Lauren Tom (Rick and Morty), Phil LaMarr (Mulligan), David Herman (Bob’s Burgers), and many others.

According to Deadline, Hulu has promised that all episodes in the new season will have something for new and old fans of the series. Long-time fans will recognize decade-long mysteries such as Fry and Leela’s love story, the contents of Nibbler’s litter box that has captivated much mystery, and even the secrets of the evil robot Santa. The crew will also be exploring current event topics such as vaccines, bitcoin, and even cancel culture.
Futurama season eleven will premiere on Hulu on July 24th. All current seasons are available to stream on the platform.
