An upcoming limited series entitled Pam & Tommy for Hulu has released the news that actor Nick Offerman (Devs, Parks and Recreation) will be included in its cast, according to Deadline. The series is created by Rob Siegel (The Founder, The Wrestler) and is currently in the production process with Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya) tapped as the series’ director. The Hulu original will also see executive producing help from the likes of Seth Rogen (Superbad, The Interview), Evan Goldberg (Superbad), Alex McAtee (Long Shot), James Weaver, James Franco (Freaks and Geeks), Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist), and many more.
Pam & Tommy will look into the real-life event of the release of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s sex tape, which began to take its place in history as one of the world’s first viral moments. Previous to Offerman’s casting, it has been announced that Sebastian Stan (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will take on the role of Lee, the Mötley Crüe drummer, while Lily James (Baby Driver) will tackle the Baywatch star in Anderson. The cast will also add the likes of Rogen as Rand. Offerman will portray Uncle Miltie, an individual who acts as the money guy for the distribution of this famous sex tape alongside Rogen’s character.
Offerman’s inclusion follows his recent appearance on another FX limited series, Devs for FX on Hulu, where he played the mysterious founder and CEO of a technology company, Amaya.
It is unknown when this upcoming Hulu original will hit the streaming service in addition to the number of episodes it will consist of.
