Hugh Jackman of ‘X-Men’ Spends the Day in SportsCenter Studio

X-Men Days of Future Past star Hugh Jackman put his sports knowledge on display during a day in ESPN’s studio.

Hugh Jackman, known for his talents as an actor, singer, and dancer, discussed the NBA, NFL, and World Cup on SportsCenter. He even called out John Cena, challenging the WWE superstar turned actor to a WWE Match.

The Aussie movie star proved surprisingly knowledgable in American sports and admitted,  “The only TV that I watch pretty regularly is SportsCenter. In fact, it’s almost the only TV I watch.”

“Psyched is not strong enough of a word. Let’s call it a ‘fantasy day,'” Jackman said regarding his visit to the studio. When asked which sports stars he thought would make powerful mutants, Jackman selected two extremely prominent and outspoken athletes, Lebron James and Richard Sherman.
