The How I Met Your Mother spin-off has added two more members to its cast, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Masters of Sex actor Nick D’Agosto has landed a regular role in the spin-off. Andrew Santino, who is currently starring in ABC’s Mixology, will play the guest role of Danny.
The HIMYM spin-off will tell a similar story of its parent show but from a female point of view. The storyline and characters will be all-new and center around Sally (Greta Gerwig.)
Additional cast members include Drew Tarver and Krysta Rodriguez. Emily Spivey will work alongside HIMYM co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas as executive producers. Pam Fryman, another HIMYM alum, will direct and join the trio as EP.
The pilot will be filmed in Los Angeles and move to New York if it goes to series.
