‘Homeland’ Casts Laila Robins and Corey Stoll for Season 4

Homeland is bulking up its cast for season 4, adding Laila Robins (Bored to Death) as a regular and Corey Stoll (The Strain) as a guest star.

Robins will play Martha Boyd, the US ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is professional and no-nonsense. Stoll will guest star as Sandy Bachman, the CIA chief of station in Pakistan who is rapidly rising in the ranks of the agency.

Robins has appeared in The Sopranos and Damages, as well as movies such as Side Effects and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Stoll was a regular in season one of House of Cards as Peter Russo, and will appear in FX’s The Strain and HBO’s The Normal Heart.

Season 4 production of Homeland is scheduled to begin this month in South Africa.
