HBO’s second Game Of Thrones prequel, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, has been renewed for a second season. According to Deadline, the announcement was made by Casey Bloys (Less Than Perfect, Jane Fonda In Five Acts), the Chairman and CEO of HBO.
The series will be an adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s (Game Of Thrones, House of The Dragon) novel Dunk and Egg. The series follows the adventures of a hedge knight named Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the series is set 72 years after House of The Dragon and is a full century before Game Of Thrones. The synopsis also mentions that story focuses of the Targaryens who still have a hold over the Iron Throne.
