HBO Max’s ‘The Pitt’ Announces Six Guest Stars For Third Season

With production for its third season underway, HBO Max’s The Pitt has announced new cast additions. In an Instagram post, the WBD streamer revealed Malachi Beasley (A House of Dynamite, Extraction), Cheyenne Perez (The Sex Lives of College Girls, For All Mankind), Jeremy Radin (The Accountant 2, The New World) Pruitt Taylor Vince (Bird Box, Murder One), Charlz Williams (The Family Business, SEAL Team) and Rosanny Zayas (The Code, Orange is the New Black) as recurring guest stars. Cast descriptions are currently unknown. View the post below.

The Pitt’s second season premiered in January, ending its 15-episode shift in April. The acclaimed drama is set to premiere its third season within a year.

Created by West Wing and ER scribe R. Scott Gemmill, The Pitt follows the inner-workings of a trauma center in Pittsburgh. Formatted within a day’s single shift, the show tackles the trials and tribulations of modern healthcare, its on-the-ground workers and the patients they treat.

The series stars Noah Wyle (ERThe Librarian), Patrick Ball (Law & Order), Katherine LaNasa (Truth Be ToldThe Campaign), Fiona Dourif (Situations, Psychonaut), Taylor Dearden (The Hive: A Thriller, Power of Women), Isa Briones (Goosebumps, Star Trek: Picard), Gerran Howell (Out There, Ludwig), Shabana Azeez (River, Tales from Outer Suburbia), Amielynn Abellera (Familia, Bosch: Legacy), Brandon Mendez Homer (Souvenir Drunk, The Good Fight) and Ayesha Harris (Grey’s Anatomy, Code 3).

As these six join the cast, the show bids farewell to Supriya Ganesh (Grown-ish, Billions) who portrayed Dr. Samira Mohan for two seasons. News of her departure stirred weeks before the season two finale.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ganesh addressed her leaving, saying, “That was something that was just always spoken about when we were filming, just that there’s characters that are gonna come and go.” Some character departures depict real-life physicians leaving residency for other career opportunities.

With season three set for a 2027 release, stream the first two seasons of The Pitt on HBO Max.
