HBO Max Shares New Official Trailer For ‘Love & Death’

According to Comicbook, HBO Max has released new trailer for their upcoming series Love & Death that teases the unsettling story that is based on a real event. The series is inspired by the crimes of  Candace ‘’Candy’’ Montgomery who allegedly murdered her neighbor Betty Gore while having an affair with her husband. The series is also inspired by Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs by Joe Bob Briggs (Hogzilla) and Jim Atkinson. The new trailer gives viewers a more detailed look at what is to come from the series that premieres on HBO Max on April 27th.

According to Comicbook, Sarah Aubrey (Battleship), head of original content for HBO Max said, “This is a gripping story about the frustrations and desires of two women in a small town that culminates in a terrible act of violence. The series titled Love & Death is based on a real-life case, Candace ‘’Candy’’ Lynn Montgomery, a Texan housewife, who was charged in 1980 for the death of her neighbor and friend Betty Gore. The series will star Elizabeth Olsen (Wandavision), Olivia Grace Applegate (Euphoria), Jesse Plemons (The Irishman), Fabiola Andujar (Walker), Patrick Fugit (Treadstone), Kira Pozehl (American Crime), Harper Heath (Guardians of Time), Christopher Corson (Reina of the West), and many others.

Love & Death will premiere on HBO Max on April 27th and will consist of seven episodes airing weekly.
