HBO Max has many exciting things coming up on the horizon. Releasing a teaser video on Thursday with a line up that extends all the way through 2022, it includes announcements of new seasons of HBO original series such as Succession, Insecure, and Euphoria, along with first looks at new and upcoming series House of the Dragon, The Nevers, Mare of Easttown, Gossip Girl and more, via Indiewire

HBO Max subscribers can expect a surplus of new content beginning in 2021. Starting with the highly awaited returns of fan favorite series, the teaser included that a new season of the Emmy Award winning series Succession is underway. Viewers can also expect a brand new season of Insecure starring Issa Rae (The Lovebirds). A new special episode of Euphoria is also coming, arriving January 24, 2021 on the streaming service.

Along with returning shows, there are several new HBO Max originals that will be arriving with the new year. The teaser included a brief look at the upcoming science fiction series The Nevers. Taking place in the Victorian London era, the teaser marks the first time footage from the series has been released. Starring Laura Donnelly (Tolkein), Olivia Williams (Rushmore, The Sixth Sense), James Norton (James Norton), Tom Riley (Dark Heart), and Ann Skelly (Red Rock), it’s set to premiere in summer 2021.

The new line up also featured a first glimpse at the upcoming limited series Mare of Easttown. A crime thriller starring Kate Winslet (The Reader, Ammonite), she is seen portraying hardened detective Mare Sheehan. Taking place in a small Pennsylvanian town, Sheehan attempts to solve a local murder case while battling personal demons. This marks Winslet’s first starring role in a television series in almost ten years after starring in the 2011 HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce.

And perhaps most highly anticipated in the HBO Max lineup is the series House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones. The teaser announced that House of the Dragon will be coming to HBO in 2022, with the news being accompanied by an angry looking dragon blowing fire directly into the camera. The series will star Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen.

Other first looks throughout the teaser included footage of the reboot Gossip Girl, depicting the now famous steps of The Met being inhabited by a new generation of New York Upper East Side teenagers. It also included snapshots of the upcoming documentary series Nicki Minaj depicting rapper Minaj’s life and career, a two part documentary series about legendary golfer Tiger Woods titled Tiger, and a reminder that the Friend’s Special Reunion is coming
